Borders

BORDERS

The assignment consisted on doing borders or frames around a simple logo of your choosing. When i started doing it i felt like only doing round borders because they were the simplest to do but i also wanted to do a variety of borders. That's when i decided to play around with different shapes and ended up with the bottom borders.

This assignment was fun because you had to come up with different patterns. I only did simple patterns but i think they are good examples of what was required for the assignment. We were only supposed to do 2 but i could not decide on which ones so i ended up uploading these 3 below.

This assignment was relatively easy. At first i started putting random colors but it was not looking good so i had to started thinking of a better way to put them so i had to change colors around. For the second part of the assignment i just placed text and pictures to a place that looked good in my eyes. It was easier than the first part.

 In the assignment below we had to design a poster. I decided to do my poster on childhood obesity, hopefully the poster shows that theme because if it does not it means i did not do a good job.

Working with color part A&B

WORKING WITH COLOR

The first part of the assignment where we had to find images and draw out the colors was easy. All you had to do was find pictures on the internet and use the eyedropper tool to extract the different color from the images. Part B of the assignment was different and more complicated because sometimes i could find enough word to fill out the page.

Working with Paint (color)

Paint

This assignment was both easy and hard at the same time. Easy in the sense that you could do randomness and Hard because i do not like to work with paint too much. The first assignment was making a color scale from white transferring to black. It was difficult going from some tones to the others in the ladder because sometimes the color was just too close to the previous one. The other one we just did 6x6 blocks of primary colors featuring different tones.
